------You are so right Poodle!!!!!!!!I have already E-mailed him!!! He isnt interested in a trade, which I probably would have done. I never thought I would say this but it may come to pass as this pans out that I will need to sell the El Pescador as much as I dislike the thought. Some have shown interest in the past. If you are truly interested,,,either private message me or call or whatever. I dont know if this constitutes an add or not. If so Ill put the price at $60,000 or best offer, with the best offer taking precedence.........Bill S

I'm a sucker for teak and/or mahogany... I'm sure he'd like to see it go to a good home, Jim. He might even give you the "forum member's special" - $59,999. We've gotta fill that slab... hate to leave it empty

For now, I'll wait till Hatz digs through his archive...

------I always thought that the Fino hull was a reworked Bertram hull, but Mike Aronow told me just the other day that his Dad had a big part in the designing of the Fino for Bobby Rautbord whos family owned Magnum at the time. Approximatly the first half of production was actually in the Magnum plant and then moved to somplace in Hialeah. I believe Brownie knows quite a bit about it........Bill S

-----Floor, trim, and actually most of the rigging was done by my good friend John Davis of Marine City. He has done some of the most beautiful wood boat restorations I have ever seen. Was a GM employee, then went to work for Royal Pontiac back in the day.
-----We actually have a Michigan Chapter ACBS boat show in St. Clair this coming Saturday (the 19th) and the El Pescador is being shown. A first for me, and I guess I have a bit of trepidation. I sort of thought they looked down on our glass boats, but they say "any boat from 1975 down" so what the he[[.
-----I am trying very hard to be rational about the Fino and I think I may have talked myself out of it. That being the case, unless somebody just has to have a nice old center console maybe we should all forget the prior post with the 5 digit # in it. Thanks to Poodle for helping my post the pics and to anyone else feeling my pain......Bill S
