It's a classic Donzi, not a Donzi Classic.

6500 rpm, 175 MPH, not bad numbers.

Never saw such a steady video, water looked perfect.

Gas stamp on the gas pump looked like Arizona, any one know what lake this was?

Hi-test under 3.50/gallon, old video but still a great way to start a day.

Metric analog speedo makes me think the boat is in Canada?

I'm assuming Havasu or Mead. Didn't look like Powell.

I found the metric speedo a bit odd as well; assumed maybe the boat was being shipped to the middle east or something. They seem to be the only people with enough money to finance such a project these days...

Probably Havasu. Seems that's the place all the West Coast builders test their stuff.
Why is faster never fast enough.

If I were offered a ride I wouldn't be able to say no, but I have to admit I have no desire to actually own a boat that fast. Where I live you'd only find conditions to open it up maybe 1 day a year. Most of the delta is too tight and twisty, and the bay is seldom flat enough for those kind of speeds. And forget about running outside the gate; the Pacific isn't for going fast!

That's where all the big boys run because they don't have a lot of options in the dessert!!
