    440hp @5100 is pretty stout for a 383. Wonder if the cam will work with wet exhaust?

    Gotta wonder where $$ was saved too; $3,500 doesn't leave room for any killer parts.

    Agreed. Probably cast pistons, stock rods, ets...nothing to say different.

    Checked their site. All engines are "remanufactured". You get what you pay for. Buyer beware.

    I am guessing internals are Chinese, not worth paper weight material. ......I hope I am not offending any Chinese here on this site.

    ----Specs on my Tyler Crockett 383s are just about the opposite. 415 horsies and 460ftlb of torque. They cost a bit more but they will live......Bill S

    What is the cam degree and lift?

    415 lbs of torque at 5100 rpm is only 403 hp.
