You are the man Thanks for always providing so much info. The pics puts my mind to rest on that subject I have already cut back the stringers and once I get the transom out I am good to go.
I had the chance to look around a 27 the other day here in Michigan and someone haddone a nice job of redoing it. I noticed in the front two compartments that they put in a facing bench seat and a porti potti They cut back the second bulkhead from the front so it created two long 24' wide benches that someone could sleep on and if you put in a center cushion it would make one long bed way up front Have you or are you doing anything to the front of your cabin?
    Mario, Scippy Marshall?
    Thanks Guys

    Parnell,
First, you are more than welcome. In my case, I do not plan to do anything with the cabin area except to line it and possibly cover the cabin floor with something so it can be used for storage. We do not overnight when we go boating. Bill

I will carpet mine again, leaving the floor sections removable to access fuel tanks, and add a pump out head immediately forward of the fuel tanks . .

no sleeping on board . . but enough space to store stuff and the occassional lay.

The "cabin" on my mag is only 30" tall I'm guessing so thats not much head room. After replacing my 2 main tanks I installed new floor boards and put back the cushions. My 8 and 6 yr. olds love it. The only cabin I've seen that fits your description is on the maltese which has a higher deck with a raised center section and maby more freeboard.

The one I crawled around on was a sport and it had been redone by someone Certainly not a lot of head room but I have a 10 year old that already loves it without be done. The problem is he will be 12 by the time this boat is running and if he gets another growth spurt by then he won't fit either.

    New owner

Today marks the day when a new owner/custodian will be in charge of the Magnum 27 Sport. Aaron drove down from Minnesota to pick it up and I look forward to following as he continues the restoration.

Bill why did I think you sold it a long time ago?.......I remember something like, "you were halting the restoration" and I just assumed you sold it.
funny I don't remember the hull side being red either....So she was stored all these years until now?....what's the story behind the sale to the new
    owner?

    Hi Pete,
No sale - I gave it to Aaron with the understanding that he might be able to give me something for it later. It seems like yesterday that I was working on it - lol

Okay Bill.....If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Aaron already own a 27' White Sport?....So he's not buying it but will get it to the next step?

Aaron was my biggest supporter when I bought it and is a perfectionist when it comes to restorations like the Porsches that he professionally restores at his business/shop so I wanted him to have a shot at owning and finishing it since I already knew that I would never complete the restoration. The bones are there and he will hopefully make it float and shine again.

I've been flying drones for 3 years or so now. They certainly open doors when it comes to photography and videography and I have really enjoyed the new technology more than anything in years. When you are looking at your electronic notebook that shows the view from a camera that is in the air a mile away and deciding the best position for taking pictures or up to 4k videos, you can appreciate all the technologies that have come together to make this possible.

Yep, it's really sweet what drones can do. I paid over $600 for 3 helicopter shots a few years ago!

    Hey Bill,
Wow, been a while on this thread... I too thought your sport was long gone. Aaron had a beautiful white, very original sport years ago, does this make 2 for him? I can't imagine he sold his.
