Beautiful turnkey boat. Seems to be one heck of a deal at $15,000.

    From the ad:

1993 Donzi Sweet 16, Restored with Performance Upgrades. Ford 302 HO with OMC Cobra Drive. Hull # CCVD113L293

This is a very nice and fast Donzi for someone who has high standards and doesn't want to have to do anything but drive. I spent two years doing the restoration and I am a Donzi connoisseur and master mechanic. It has all the right things done to it if you are a Donzi enthusiast. Probably the nicest OMC Donzi in the country. The boat runs great, shifts great, drives great, handles great, tows great, and looks like new. It is well tuned and doesn't have any issues. Here is what was done.

Hull: Professional re-gel of bottom (rest was color sanded and buffed, in great condition), New OEM Donzi Stainless Shelby Side Logo, New Boot Stripe in Vinyl (like factory), New PPI interior (Complete), New Seat Pedestal, New Powdercoated Aluminum Dash and Switch Panel (custom fabricated), New Livorsi Guages w/ bezels (GPS Speedo), New Mil Spec Switches/ Breakers, New Faria Depth Sounder, New Corinthian Aqua Mat Snap-in Carpet, New Uflex Steering Wheel, New Hardin Controls, New Sony Bluetooth Stereo w/ driver remote, New Sony Marine Speakers, 4 total (6"x9" and 6"), New Dual Interstate Marine Deep Cycle Batteries, New Electronic Dual Battery Controller, New Bilge Paint, New Bilge Pump and Fan, New Under Seat Storage compartment. All new connectors are Weatherpak or Deutsch. New custom Stainless Steel Bimini top with Sunbrella Fabric (Pauls Custom Canvas), New Custom Cockpit Cover, New Full Cover (Sunbrella fabric/ towable). Transom and stringers are dry and in good condition. Original Bennett Trim Tabs w/ New Switches), and original lift rings, vents, and cleats. Has been stored indoors in climate controlled shop during my ownership.

Engine (20 Hours since top end rebuild, bottom end had low hours and is in good condition)/ Drive: New Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, New Lunati Performance Cam, New Lunati Billet Rockers, New Lunati Pushrods, New Edelbrock Powdercoated Intake Manifold, New Edelbrock Water Pump, New Edelbrock Valve Covers, New Holley Carb, New HEI Distributor, All New APR Stainless engine Hardware, All powdercoated parts, New K&N Spark Arrestor, New Hoses, New T-Clamps, New Corsa Captain's Call exhaust w/ angled tips, Rebuilt Trim Pump, New Gimbal Bearing, New Gimbal Hoses/Bellows, Drive Lower Repainted (2 stage paint), New cables, New Solas 23P T3 Stainless Prop, New raw water pump impeller, Serviced Drive. Colorado boat, no salt water history. Boat makes great power and does an honest 65 gps at 3,500' altitude. I have extra jets for low altitude.

Trailer: Open Chanel Trail Rite Single Axle, New Full Sandblast and Professional Repaint in Red, New Bearings, Hubs, Studs, Bearing Buddys, New Electrical Wiring, New pressure treated bunks with carpet, All new Stainless Hardware, New LED Lights, HD 7 Pin Plug, New Fulton F2 Winch and Jack, New Rollers w/Stainless Hardware, New Alum Wheels, New Goodyear Tires, New Stainless Steel treadplate on steps, Clear Bra Fenders and front rails.

I bought a larger Donzi so this gem needs a new home. I don't need help selling it, and will only do a person to person transaction with cashiers check (pre verified) or cash, no BS. I have the trailer title and all receipts.

I would like to know more about that "new under seat storage", looks like that's where the batteries are stored.

Is that under the port side seat, and is that space available in all of the 16's from this era?

Wow, that is an incredible deal at $15k. Plenty of tasteful updates done. I would think the underseat storage is a compartment he added under the rear cushion from the looks of the one photo. I did that to my 16 as well. Also really like the fact it has an open C channel trailer. If you have to dunk it in salt they are simple to hose off and will therefore last.

Nice job on posting up the pics Just Say N20

In addition to the factory storage under the rear seat that contains the dual batteries, I installed another hatch and liner in the port section under the L seat. I don’t have a photo of it, but it has the same style hatch as the stock type and has a thick poly liner. Is great for ropes, inflatable life vests, or fire extinguisher. Any extra space in a 16 is fantastic, and this helps.

Greg, I want it to go to a good home. Everyone here knows now much time and money it takes to get a boat to this specification. I had a great time doing it and it ignited my passion for Donzi’s.

I found a picture of the added storage. It is about 10-12” deep. You can’t go any longer because there is a stringer near the back edge.

Another great idea to compliment a well thought out and much improved boat.
