    Blackhawk 1st run

Finally managed to get the 22 in the water last weekend in between rain storms.
Good shakedown after a winter of tinkering. The boat ran pretty well, with only a few details needing attention.
I've been reading these forums a lot and was ready for most of the Blackhawk quirks - no surprises there. Thanks everyone for the tips!

Hey Glen! I know - long wait for 1st splash. Cant wait for more consistent weather, 'cause it's just a short haul to both Sproat and Great Central Lakes. Impromptu late afternoon runs and dinners on the water are on, as it's only about 40 minutes from the shop to the ramp at Sproat. So pretty comparable to Pitt Lake from N.Van. And no traffic crush.
Got lots of positive comments about the boat every place we stopped, and my wife really liked the ride, but was a bit surprised how these boats turn.
I'd forgotten that she's only been in tunnels or cats. But she does prefer the big block rumble over the twin two stroke howl.
Luna (German Shepherd) is just happy to be on the water again and approves.
    So overall, all good.
Now let's see how fast this thing goes......
