    Keels & Wheels 2017

Cannot believe it... my old Donzi won Best in Class! In the largest Classic Glass class that the show has ever had. There were 9 beautiful fiberglass boats, including classic Centurys, Cobalts, Chris Crafts and Chryslers. I am so proud of my little Donzi! Huge thanks to the ACBS judges that recognize the historical importance of these boats!

Congratulations. You would have had my vote. Any more pics of your boat and the others?

I will try to get pics of some of the other boats in Classic Glass. I was the only Donzi. The most popular is Century, there were four! A gorgeous XK19 Jet and a Chrysler Conquerer III Jet. Two pretty Colbalt open bow boats.

    Congratulations on your win

    Jim,
Believe it your boat is a time capsule and a very nice example of what the boats looked like back in the 70’s, you would get my vote as well. The overall condition and originality is what the wooden boat guys like.
Back in 2007 at the request of the Long Level Marina owner who was a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society I reluctantly entered my old 1970 ski sporter in their show. The boat won an award I will always remember what was said when they announced that the Donzi won an award. “You know that I am not a big fan of plastic boats but if I ever owned one this would be the one.
