So Jim, when do we get to see a picture of that clock?

    Congrats on closing the circle.

One and the same. I had to replace the distributor belt as the existing one was broke. Other than that it was minor stuff that with a little time and TLC it has turned out to be a great car. I get offers on it at red lights, parking lots and gas stations and I've turned them all down. I can't stand the thought of parting with it twice. I've only seen two in this color and I've owned both of them.

The rear drive 911's are like Classic 18's, a blast to drive and very rewarding when you get it right. not so rewarding if you get it wrong but fortunately I've been on the right side of that divide. They are an awesome car for a track day. Great stablemates! And both of mine are blue. (I'm another sucker for blue boats and cars.)

    Congratulations Jim. Great story.

Bring that thing to the hill country and we'll drive the Three Sisters. I have a great 100 mile loop with lots of twisties.

I promise not to go too fast so the antiques can keep up. LOL

And the funny thing is we picked up a Abarth rabbit on that trip. He lead two of us right up Mississippi at 90 for two hours straight. No offense, but I was surprised in was in one piece after that.

Edit: A rabbit is someone who knowingly or not runs radar interference for you. I keep them a quarter mile ahead and never get a ticket with a database radar system such as an Escort. Helps with the red lights, cameras and speed traps.

Would love to!! We did the Sisters at Boxstoberfest a couple of times. Loved it!

Easy on them Abarths! I have one as my DD. Might be funnest car I have ever owned! And amazingly well built, will run 95 all day long and never complain! With the ac on!
