    Rum Runner

    ..............
I've always liked the old school Sutphen Rum Runner with the wave crushing 26 degree deadrise. This one looks really nicely redone and updated. You don't see many of these 26 foot hulls popping up anymore.
I wonder how it performs with 600 ponies and a -3.

Looks like this boat was for sale back in December for $45,000 until the owner dropped the price to $35,000 this month.

With the cut on that bow and a 26 degree V at the transom, this hull must have some smooth ride in rough water.

    26 Rum Runner

    Hi Greg,

I have a Rum Runner that I purchased from Canada with a Stock 330 HP Big Block.

The boat performed Very well in rough water. But was lacking in power.

Now has around 500 H.P. And a raised x. Will be finished for this season.

Hoping for high 60's low 70's

    Chris
