    Ragazza mystery?

longtime boater, newly to forum and Donzi ownership. Past owner froze the block and manifolds. i bought the boat with a replaced/factory engine 4.3, uninstalled, and rebuilt leg, presently not attached to boat. the alpha 1 leg has not been added to the vessels a later addition and is assumed to be original as the transom has not been altered . however, the trim/shift power controller is (i hate to say this) OMC. i would not buy a vessel with OMC power, and the rest of the vessel is mercruiser. now some will say it was changed to mercruiser, but no, it all points to original engine and leg is mercruiser. . Still putting this together and coming along nicely. should be ready for spring! beautiful hull, and brightwork. needs upholstery- no big issues. Anybody shed some light on this mongrel setup?

When the sky is grey, look out to sea.
When the waves are high and the light is dying,
well raise a glass and think of me...
    When I'm home again,
    boys, I'll be buying!
