Any Florida events coming up?

Anything coming up in Florida between now and the end of the year? I'd like to get the boat in for something. It's time to break away for a few days.

We used to run up the St Johns from Palatka and go to lunch in Jacksonville.
Usually it was in early November so the weather was always nice.
I'd be up for that.
You'd have to use a cattle prod on me to go boating right now.
No fun @ 95*F !!!!

These both look like good events. I can't make the September Fun Run, but possibly October. Count me in for the November run up to J'ville.

I'm with George, it's HOT! I was last out a week ago last Monday on the Gulf and even at speed it was still hot. The only break we got was a little rain, which feels like gravel but at least it had a cooling effect. The bright side was the Gulf was really laid down and we had several good runs up and down along the beach.

There going to be a few of us at the CPA races at lake Dora on Nov 18,19 and 20 th.. We will be going to all the connecting lakes "Bar Hopping". Hotels are hard to find so book now if your coming
