Motor hatch decal attachment input needed

I want to put one of Donzi Direct's 18" decals underneath my motor hatch. I'm sure some of you boys have don't this already. Can you offer any hints to allow it to hold on considering the heat?

Just wipe it down with acetone and put the decal on!

    Spray with water

Better use use water in a spray bottle then place it where you want it and how you want it then use a rubber squeegee and pull the water and bubbles out. It's east. I would think acetone would soften things up and make it difficult. It would clean it, that's for sure.

the LGDCC had the prop logo made in multiple colors not sure he did teal but I know he had red blue green yellow and silver as well as black several years ago his pumpkin was the "johnny appleseed" for putting the prop on the hatch

Bert, the underside will be newly sanded and painted so that won't be a problem.

Here's mine - I took the outer rings off that came with the decal, because I liked this look better. The only problem I had was I put it on without removing the hatch, so it was a little hard getting a good angle on it.IMG_0088.jpg
