    2003 22 Classic on Ebay...question

Hey all, I'm flirting with the idea of a 22...and this one is made to order for what I would want. Price seems Steep to me..NADA says Suggested list is 47k, Avg retail would be 22,775.00.

What is a real world value for this boat...opinion wise of my fellow Donzi-ers! Thanks all. GO!

Way overpriced for a 496 boat. It's not even an HO. 380 or so hp. 70 mph boat. $22,000 more like it IMO. I guess we can all dream.

IMO $22k would be an absolute steal for that boat....if it's in as good condition as said. I've seen worn out 80's go for that price.

I'd think around $30k would be more realistic and I wouldn't be surprised if it sold for mid/high $30's if it has a trailer.

Well I did some poking around and asking prices have gone up for these boats. That's encouraging. So, yes, I'd put the value of that boat closer to $30,000 and maybe more.

Boat equipped with a lot of good stuff. Eng.hrs.avg.10hrs. per year. Almost unheard of. Priced right for the "buyer".

I know, right? But I think it was Latham steering. Seems like when I talked to them they wanted about 8-9k...for a single-ram system.

    high 20s low 30s

Adding external hydraulic steering is not cheep.
I've priced a couple of manufactures and it starts at 2K for single ram, add on, and goes up from there.
Not saving that a boat is worth 5-10K more because it has it because it's not.
I value my boat in the low to mid 20s. This boat is newer and has some extra goodies so 30K is reasonable.
    Thank you, Patrick

Just for reference, $47k is around the price I'd ask for my 2002 22C but mine has the stainless windshield, 500EFI w/cradle, Latham steering, K-planes, HD gimbal, and additional glass in the lay-up. Yes the steering and k-planes add some value to the this boat but I think $48K is too high with the 496.

If the 496 is pumped up (or even if it's not) I'd check to see if this hull has had the bottom stringer/strake mods done before I'd even consider it.

I think anyone really interested should have a survey done. That'll establish a value.
A $350 investment could result in a good basis for a lower price, or not.

I was wondering where the steering is. Did I miss something?
