First run with the family on the 22

Well today my work schedule opened up and the weather was beautiful so I decided that today would be a good day to do a little family shake down run

I have only run this boat the one time before after we finished working on it and with the Lake George Donzi Dust Off coming up and than consecutive monthly trips after I really wanted to get some time behind the wheel in

so I came home after lunch hooked up and ran to a little lake about 45 minutes away

The boat went in easy and started up nicely

All I can so is that it was a big success

only had 2 of my 3 kids with us but they loved it

even the wife who hates fast things really liked it and said it didn't bother her going kinda fast ..... Took it up to 71 today.... Didn't want to upset her to much and with the lake having a 45 mph speed limit I didn't want to push my luck with either the old lady or the cops

the he boat was awesome and ran even better than it did the first day when it was like 45 out

I'd like to see more heat in the engine ...she hovered around 150 degrees but I'll wait till some hotter weather and warmer water before I start playing with thermostat's

unlike the first time I ran it I did not touch the tabs and it ran awesome

it ran level without any tabs with 4 people in it and got on plane quickly and was wanting to go

I got a lot of comments at the ramp especially when I started it up

verdict is ...... I love the boat

did a bunch of work to my tow truck and that was also running strong living up to its badge

looking forward to to a good summer with the family

    Thanks Carl

getting rid rid of my larger fishing boat and getting a smaller fun oriented runabout like this was the plan to do more things on the water with them

Most regular folks done go there because of the type of crowd. Blue Marsh in Berks County has a more PA crowd and no speed limit.

OTOH, it's only 1100 acres with a lot of no wake zone. So you're still running in small circles, it's better than Blue Marsh.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. I had to track down and order one of those Superman decals for my F350 even though my wife named it Optimus Prime. You have a fabulous looking boat there.
