Fishing rod holders Classic 22 :)

    Okay

this is my first not fishing specific boat in a very very long time

my river boat that is a big block airboat has 24 rod holders

the boat I sold when I bought this Donzi which is an attempt at a family boat was a Contender 31 that had around 22 rod holders

so yes this boat is going to get at least a few rod holders

for days when I drop the wife off at the dock I can grab a rod or two out of my truck and maybe go chase a striper in the salt or a smallie upstate

I mostly these days use longer spinning rigs and fly rods so I was looking for a system that would accommodate longer rods be very flexible on mounting position and most importantly I did not want to drill holes in my glass

I think I found the perfect solution

    thoughts ? Suggestions ?

If if not I will be ordering a set of these Sumos

    I agree

at first I was contemplating something up under the bow more permanent but my reluctance to drill holes and coming across these have really pushed me this way

    thx for the comment

I don't fish off my 22 but I could put a bunch of rods up here if I wanted.

I love the suction attachment. I wonder if they have a rod holder with the suction fastener? I would use it to hold a shade umbrella pole. Attach it to the dash or passenger side near the oh **** handle.

There are numerous suction cup vertical rod holders listed on eBay and Amazon

I'm not sure I can think of anything more impractical to fish out of
    than a Donzi Classic!

OTOH, the boat itself is pretty impractical.......
