I have a 2001 28ZX with twin 6.2mpi mercruisers. Would like to hear from anyone that has experience with the magnum dyno-boost boat performance chip. Does it work? Are there any bad side effects? Thanks for any feedback.

Dunno anything about any "chip" if their the merc 6.2's they have the merc 555 ECU and only Merc or Whipple can change the program on those as far as I know, Whipple can do it for around 6-700 $'s you'll have to run premium fuel and I'm not sure what the increase in power would be, I'll bet they are just adding timing and prolly playing a little with A/f ratio's so I'd guess gains would be minimum, now if you wanna build your 6.2's then I have a pretty good recipe for that.
