I loved my dual-lever single-action, but just swapped it out anyway. I'll pile on to George's comment with the safety side of the single-lever dual-action argument. With two sticks, the time you grab the wrong one will be when you are most distracted. And even if you never make a mistake, the twin-lever style is daunting for many guest-drivers. FWIW

I ordered one in red. When I ordered the cables, there was only one option 3300C. Is this the same as the 33C?
And I did not have a color option on the cable ends.
Maybe I should give them a call.

Yes the 3300C and 33C are the same

you can also run gen II cables with this control by just removing the threaded female brass ends that come on the controller and hooking your gen II cables up

if you do the 3300c cables you will need the adapters for the engine side

I do. It think that there is a color option on cables the Hardin 3300c cables are red

I really like my dual controls (A LOT) but I'll admit it makes me nervous to let the wife take the boat or other "guest drivers" knowing they might make a mi$take.

    BTW: Very nice 22!

I talked to CP and there are no color options for the cable ends.

They have already shipped my order. Great service and they are very friendly to talk with.

"Guest drivers"??? Definitely a rare exception.

I went with the 3300C/33C Maxflex. There is a choice on color for the cables...Red or black.

I had to call around the world to get a 12' but found one direct from Hardin. CP had the 13'.

I'm getting anxious for spring already.

The kit from Monitor arrived and I'm very impressed with Georges recommendation

    A lot of copper

    We are emulating to a certain extent George's bracket work using 4 X 4 X .375 structural aluminum angle and a 2 X 2 X .25 aluminum T-Bar as a cross brace

Hull numbers in Donzi script came in also

had to pull the boat out of garage to get snow plow hooked up

very pleased with how everything is shaping up

The boat is looking awesome JP.
I received my Hardin side shifter (in red). One note: did you check the neutral starter interlock switch? The one on the gear shift which prevents starting in gear. Mine seems to have a very narrow range where it is engaged. I'd rather not wiggle the level to get it to start.
But, the thing is built with amazing precision and when it is installed may be right on the money.
    Have you tested yours?

Also, anyone know what the button switch is for about the kill switch?

    Thx Taz

I have not run the motor yet to final adjust linkage etc so no I have not tested it yet

as soon as I get the closed cooling setup done we will run it and dial things in

the button above the kill is your up tilt for bringing the drive all the way up

Cool. Let me know what you find.
I guess that switch is for separate trim and tilt rams. Cool.
