Texas adopts a new 22 classic

After a 3000 miles in a 5 day trip (with mechanical breakdowns and a lake detour), the new (to me) Donzi has found it's home.

Thanks to Dave who did all the great customization on the boat and trailer. I think it was very tastefully done and will be greatly appreciated and taken care of.

Now who wants to meet at Lake Powell?

If my memory serves me, that boat had,(you ready ED), yellow hull sides and stripe.

I think Dave picked it up in Connecticut.

Thanks and the graphics really do look great.

The crest and flag are translucent. That is the first time I've seen that and looks great.

The white looks to be original gel coat, not paint.

I'm off to have fun for the 4th.

Congrats Wes! Very nice looking boat.

I'm going to hold off on any Lake Powell talk for now. I made plans to meet RickSE there the last couple years and ended up backing out both times. Still crossing my fingers I can get the boat wet this summer.

Thanks, the boat is very nice. I can't take credit, someone else out it together.

Rumor has it, there may be a Donzi gathering at Powell in a few months.
