1976 16' Donzi Magnum Tunnel Hull Resto

I picked this boat up for free and think its a super cool project. I dont know much about it, but I would like to fix it up. Any and all information and advice you have would be much appreciated. http://imgur.com/a/uWS7w#0 pictures are here.

When the sky is grey, look out to sea.
When the waves are high and the light is dying,
well raise a glass and think of me...
    When I'm home again,
    boys, I'll be buying!

Nice to see you are saving an old Magnum Missile. There is a lot of good information out there on them as was posted. A gentleman in CT has a fully restored one that he runs a rare Super Strangler on. Where in NJ are you located and welcome to the site.

I am just south of trenton, I found it near the NJ/PA/NY border. It's in rough shape but it's already gutted so that is something

I've got a thread started on iboats, for more of the general aspects of the boat. A major point that was brought up is that if the boat is a wood core hull there is a good chance that its junk. Could anyone tell me about the build construction of this? I may be mistaken but since I have a gutted boat it seems as easy as throwing in a floor, glassing it and glassing in a transom.
