    Fix mounted GPS

    Hi All,

This is my first post here but I been reading and learning a lot over the last few months. I bought a Donzi 22 classic last September and want to add a GPS to the boat. Does anyone have any pictures of a fix mounted unit in their boats? Or other ideas add a GPS? Thanks again for all the great information here.

    Chris

    Congrats on the purchase!

Not a lot of space in a 22 for a GPS. I tucked mine into the corner as best I could. Had to make my own mounting brackets to keep it level, but it wasn't a big deal to make.

Mine is in the same spot but it sticks up higher because of my low profile fairing. It has to be where you can see it and use it while underway so not many options like you said.

The newer ones are going to 16:9 aspect ratio, so they are not as tall. Might help.
