Wyn-Mill still for sale! She started it all.

Wyn-Mill was built in the City of Karlstad, Sweden 1959 and was designed by Jim Wynne. Volvo had approached Jim Wynne about their plans to manufacture I/O engines and drives for the pleasure boat market and they stack a 110 hp Volvo four banger in the Wyn-Mill and the rest is history. The Wyn-Mill has been in Norway for years, got restored and then actively showed and raced with a Merc. 350 Magnum motor She'll cost You about $30,000.

Compared to classic boats like some made by CC, Garwood, Ditchburn, Greavette, Minett and Century this is a great buy except for the transport costs from Europe.... Even then, I think it's a good buy. wish I had the dough.

Very cool classic & not a bad price for a piece of history. But after visiting with Walt Walters last November I believe He had more to do with this boats design than Wynne.

    Transport

Imported a Donzi from Germany last year. It was $1800 on a RORO (roll on roll off) From Germany to Brunswick GA. Took two weeks.
Not really expensive anymore. Has to be on a trailer that rolls.
I have far too many boats, just ask my Wife.

Did Wyn-Mill end up getting sold? What country did it end up in?
