    102 MPH Swede

Hello Friends. The Donzi summer is over . We had the best boating season in decades in Sweden and our Donzi was in use quite a lot. I even did a slight improvement of my top speed record from 100.7 to 102 MPH . So far i´ve been over 100 with four different propellers. Attaches some fly byes . Bjorn Carapi Sweden.

    Nice improvement!
    That's pretty hard to do.
If you want more, you may need more power, and maybe cover your cockpit.
At those speeds, aerodynamic drag goes up rather a lot!

102mph is epic. Probably one of the 5 fastest on the planet. My son is on Fall break in Stockholm, he needs to see this monster. Nice work!

A bagged and infused cockpit cover with a crown and a driver cutout could be done and would weigh about 25lbs. That could be worth 3-4 additional mph

Thanks for al the kind words thats very encouraging. I have had the 22 for six summers now and i´m not to the end of the road with this one. The classic is my "muscle car" on water and we are getting along just fine. Going out for a proptest at over 100 is always thrilling. will be some upgrades for next year as usual. Pismo I did run the boat without the 4"Gibsons at one occasion and was pretty shore to pick up something above 5500 rpm with my 540 displacement : Result 100% nothing not 50 RPM or a single MPH. Gibson must have done something right i guess. Scott i send you pictures of the grab rails. You probaly have the t-cross over there also then its just stainless tubing Bjorn

That's really something, but shouldn't you be out with your Donzi hunting down a submarine? Ryska jävlar!

Mike about props: Been over 100 with : Hydro p4x 32" Hydro p5x 32" Bravo 34" stock and Bravo mercury racing 34" 1.5 gear. Still wish someone could learn me how to play with the tabs at 100 mph, otherwise they are very close to stock single rams (little longer)
