    New DONZI driver

My daughter was home for the first time in almost two years. She is NAVY an has been stationed in Japan and just got back from Afaganistan. The first thing we did was pounded the bay in the Donzi. She took the helm an that was it!!! She says that the boat is hers now. She payed attention to the way I drove the boat an just took over. Soo stoked to see her drive like she did, hole shots,,, flat out trimmed up Donzi speed, its was awsome she made me proud

Big props to the service men and women all over the world .

Now you need to find a copy of that Donzi ad from the 80's that was a great photo of a red 22C next to a US destroyer for her .

I believe it was a part of the new advertising portfolio that Genth created when he took over ownership if that's of any help .

But a lot of brain cells have died since then . ...

I'll keep checking my digital files for it but MC is right it was in the 85-89 ish era when Staples owned and Genth Houser ran Donzi . It had a sailor in their dress whites with a 22 and another z model a 25 i think. I think it might be on the backside of this poster but i am not breaking the backing paper to find out.
It was around the time when they used all the naval signal flags in the ads as well the slogan if I remember correctly is

    SPEEDBOATING REDEFINED

    I'll keep looking

Don't worry Matty , it's not on the back of that poster . I have one of the same ones and it's not on the reverse side.

I think it might have appeared in the printed 'Donzi portfolio brochure' that had the story about the new ownership and also included the 65 sport fisherman and Eau de Donzi .
I'm sure I've seen the ad run on it's own in printed magazines back then .
