Is it my imagination or does the baby 14 carry less deadrise than other models ?
1 of 2 of the only Donzi Classics to be a true vee boat ( barrelback the other one) the number i heard was 22 degrees

Thank guys! I will post more pictures soon. Once the motor mount, trim pump bracket and fuel tank are painted a lot should go together quickly.

Bert yes its as close to the original gel as possible.

I am sure that was the plan and the 14 was marketed as a 28 offspring . We Know Don had a thing for the 14 as it made it's way around 188th st with him, but look at the boats the 28 and the 19 have more in common , wide beam , round nose, rounded bottoms, short inner strakes , character line.

the 14 and the barrelback have more in common both have narrower beam , the rounded rear deck transom lines , true deep vee sharp keel, inner strakes that come all the way to the transom.

the 14 doesn't have the the pointy nose of the 18

a half scale 28 would be a LOA 14 feet on a 5 foot beam the 14 is LOA 14 feet 5 inches 6 feet 3 inches beam I am far from a naval engineer but a 24 degree sharp vee 5 feet wide would be more than a handful.

the color was called Lucan red

    Scott:

Is the correct interior for the Baby 2-piece (Bench, Seatback) or 3-piece (Bench, 2 component seat backs).

Mine had a 2-piece, but it was not original. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks
