    propeller advice no idea what size i need

    I have purchased a1989 all red but not a testerosa 22 classic with a bravo 1 with a imco shorty engine not dynoed but is in the 615-645 hp need a propeller

    Drive ratio? Any current known behavior including prop pitch and rpm?

    I will go to yard on monday will get imco info and check drive ratio boat has a blown 454 in it when purchased pulling old engine monday installing new engine the following monday

    The lower just says imco no numbers i can find and upper doesnt have drive ratio just looking for a starting point to work from

    Look on the top of the lower unit at the front end. The inches is stamped into the lower housing as -0, -1, -2 or -3. If you have the lower unit drive off the boat, you can quickly determine the ratio by turning the input shaft in relation to the prop shaft. If it is 1.5 ratio (typical) then the input will turn 1.5 times to 1 turn of the prop shaft. I hope this helps.
