Congrats to OL for their Kilo record! There's a good write-up at Speed on the Water here: http://speedonthewater.com/new-boat-...-run-barrier-2 They also set the single vee record with a 30OL running a HP525. That's a pretty amazing feat too.

Kind of wild that it took a decade to beat Reggie Fountain's record, and cool that it took place on the same course, right in front of his house. Reggie was very classy in congratulating Mike Fiore, Brian Forehand, and the rest of the OL crew.

I don't know, a decade to finally break the Regmaster's record? On the Outer Limits 30 I'd like to see the Tuff 29 go head to head with them in the record run. The box stock Tuff with no factory backing runs the same Mercury 525 power plant and does 96mph in everyday family use trim. With the sticker price difference you could buy a fast bowrider or three.

Kind of different than what Reggie was saying about Outerlimits back when Fountain set the record. I can't bring myself to use the word "classy" and "Reggie" in the same sentence.
