    Prepare for impact!

Any landing you walk away from is a good one. I saw it in person.
IT WAS A 6FOOT WAKE!!! Nice work Jim!
I have far too many boats, just ask my Wife.

    Good recovery!

Did it accelerate up to 84mph while the strakes were out of the water by any chance?

no, there was some squid underneath trying to measure my inner strake termination point, and shaft height though, I had to lay it over to not hit his head... made quite an impression with the dock watchers

Buizilla, sorry that I did not get to meet you at the show. I admired your boat from the dock and when you were running. I had the pleasure of hitching a ride on Berts Fino, definitely a highlight of our trip! Now it is back to reality and the cold weather of the midwest. Will summer ever come back to grace us with soft water?

    Memories

It was a great show for sure. Maybe the best ever. Rain and all.
The rain just allowed us to get to know some great people even better.
Jim is a sport and a great boat driver I might add.

Jim's a pretty big guy....some ballast in the passenger seat would keep her straight in the air !

Quick 1/8th turn of the wheel to the left upon takeoff, that's what would help with the I/O torque steer.

this boat has ZERO torq steer, I mean ZERO

offsetting ballast would be helpful though
