    That is absolutely correct. There's even pictures of it on one of Pratt and Whitney's web sites. The boat is now in Colorado.

    Jeff, I'm not exactly sure if the Cat with twin outboards is made out of wood or not. From the look of the picture though I think those motors on the back are probably Evinrude X-115's. If that is true than that would date the Cat around 1966 or so which is before I was born. All of the photos were provided to me by Wilbur McDonald's daughter with additional details added by Wilbur's oldest son Gregg.

    It is made of wood. Your date is about right. It was repowered with Mercs later.
