    blackhawk prop Q

Some one told me that I can run my 31 in the back and my 27 in front would or could this work.It would be like a pair of Hoss props do they not run like that.Has anyone tried this it would be cool to use the 27s instead of selling them. Thanks craig

IMO the best one to ask would be Mr X, normally the front is one inch less pitch then the back. When I ran my BH the best combo was 24 front 26 back, the front feeds the back. You have the props it may be worth a try, nothing to lose but a little time.

Years back I tried a 31 with a 29 and while I don't remember the exact results, I do remember I liked the way it runs with just 29's or just 31's so we switched back pretty quick

I had a long conversation with Dave Bastic of Hoss when he made my props for the bh 16. He helped develop bh props with Merc. After all the testing the staggered set-up was the factory set-up. So a set of 31 mercs are 30 front and 32 rear. This gives a set of 31's. As MOP said try, only lose is time. Also play with the timing of the front in relation to the rear. Front feeds the rear. Have you had the boat in the water for any testing? What have your results been? Get it dialed and ready for next summer.
