    king cobra rpm

    does anyone know how many rpm's a hump top king cobra can safely and reliably spin ? Is 5200-5400 too much ? thanks in advance

    IMO it can spin that safely, but you may find better results as to speed at a little lower RPM. Boats depend on torque, getting it propped so in is running in its best torque band is a better route than spinning it above it.

    Dr. Dan runs his up to 5350 behind the 500EFI. And with the last rebuild, that engine is even less stock than ever. You're golden..
