1975 Ski Sporter steering cable replacement

I need to replace the rotary steering cable as it is getting quite stiff( all other parts move easily) . The only info I could read on the cable was Morse 804413-158IN-7322 This was on the cable under the dash so I am not positive about the numbers. Can anyone tell me a modern number or where I can get a new cable

I am pretty sure it is a 13 foot cable, I will call my old shop to see if I can get a sure ID. They do have a fairly extensive supply of out dated cables.

Ok the best guy down there is checking on the numbers you posted, he asked what color the cable is.

Cable is Black with a Red stripe Attached photo shows the numbers. Hard to get a good picture witha phone under the dash Thanks for your help Trevor

Not sure what bearing the color has, he did say it is a 304413 series. I will call him this AM.

Thanks Phil, I contacted John and we decided it would be easier for me to order here in Canada. I found a place that can get me one immediately. Without a US Shipping address, the freight carriers are gruesome in their charges.
I answered your PM but I don't think that route works as I can't see the reply.
