    Won't start when warm

My dad's Donzi 18 Classic won't start back up again once it's at operating temp. Starts fine when cold. Has a brand new Edelbrock 600 carb....had the same problem with the old carb too (holley 750). Don't think flooding is an issue....doesn't seem to be dripping fue or anythingl. Ideas?

    vapor lock?
When the sky is grey, look out to sea.
When the waves are high and the light is dying,
well raise a glass and think of me...
    When I'm home again,
    boys, I'll be buying!

Do you mean it won't turn over or that it cranks fine, but just won't fire after it is warm?

    Cranks fine, no fire

Don't really think it'd be vapor lock...engine temp stays in check and the fuel line is decently far from heat sources

How close is your fuel filter from your manifold? I put too long of a filter on mine(warning label right in front of me) and had wicked vapor lock.

Dan, Glad you got it figured out. Sometimes that happens with weak coils as well.
