    Tempered glass in 22C

I had a glass shop give me a quote for replacing all of the original plexiglass the glass guy said he could do tempered for the same price as acrylic. I have never taken it apart but I believe the SS frame screws through the side pieces. Essentially making tempered glass a no go? It just seems to me if there was flexing the glass would break.

Without me pulling it apart i figured i would ask, does the frame screw through the factory piece?

    Has anyone used tempered?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

IMO glass is not a good choice, if it ever breaks you will have a mess on your hands. You will be better off going a couple of $$ replacing the plexi with Lexan.

Thanks Phil! The glass shop got me a light bronze tinted polycarbonate, cut and drilled very reasonable.
