1968 Donzi 19 St. Tropez salvation.

Well, as some of you know, I was given a 1968 St. Tropez. The boat is still in South Florida and I do not get to work on it yet, as I am in North Central Kentucky, however My Brother and his Wife are currently working their tails off to wash this boat and make her shine inside and out. I love them so much. First pic is before and next is after. 2013031595104319.jpg2013051995121513.jpg

    a true classic. Enjoy.
I have far too many boats, just ask my Wife.

Wish I was there to have a closer look at it ! Looks nice so far.
Did you see the thread that Harbourmaster started the other day with the one he found 'laying about ' ?

You're going to have to go through this very carefully , trust me . Fuel tank(s) probably junk . Transom and deck coring ? Check the bottom out too and see if there's any structural cracks visible on the full length strakes about 3 feet in front of the transom.

I know this is hard for you to do as you're not close to it .It must be driving you nuts.
Just because something's old doesn't mean you throw it away !

Oh yeah, It is absolutely driving me bonkers not being able to get into it. I did see the one found laying about, definaltly a nice find. Once I have the boat here in KY I am gonna go over every inch of it. I know for sure the deck will need to be recored, and the bow as well. There appears to be a hole in the deck just aft of the console to the starboard of the engine cover. I will probably be in touch with David for sure.

    Nice boat!

We just had our annual rally down at lake Cumberland. We would love to see you join us with this St Tropez next year! It's always the weekend before Memorial day weekend.

    Upholstery for a St Tropez

    http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthre...ghlight=tropez

I really want to get this to a good home. It is all in great condition. All of the cushions are done with very high quality foam and vinyl.

There are a few people out there restoring a St Tropez. Even if you wanted a different color the foam alone would be a great deal.

shoot me an email or call
