    Another prop debate

I ran the minx for the first time with the new full hydraulic steering, bigger tabs, and four blade hydromotive. Steering was incredible, will never have another boat without it. Not loving the prop-could not get any bow lift, back of the boat seemed loose at high speed. Had great acceleration and no blow out in tight turns. I switched from a spinelli because of the blow out in the turns. I checked the tabs (with some one else driving) and they were not in the water at speed. Rpms were a little low at 4500 with the 24 pitch.

Am I stuck with the better handling of the spinelli with blow out in the turns or is there a happy medium.

If you try a Revolution 4 23P, I'll bet you will be very pleased with the results. They are great props all the way around on bow lift, cruise, out of the hole bite, and top end. My two cents, Bill

Katana, if you decided to dump the hydromotive prop (and it will accept an OMC flo torque) let me know. It might work well with my 502 powered King Cobra 22.
