    Probably a dumb question

    since classic 18 and classic 22 have the same beam are the seats (especially rear) interchangeable? Thanks

    the 22 is deeper/seat are taller

    Thanks put if back seat height is only thing seats from a 22 could be shortened to accomadate the 18. What do you think?

    I doubt you could modifiy the seats. Sounds like you found a 22 interior and you want to use it in an 18.

    A 22 is
    proportionally
    larger every where. The widest beam is at the drivers seat and dash board on any classic and if you really look there is not one straight line on them.The hull is actually a spline, a series of small arcs that form a a larger arc or geometrical shape. Front to back top to bottom. So logic dictates the seats would also be wider as well as taller

    machinist ,bore it deeper,ream it bigger, and lap it to a fine finish

    If u have the original seats from your 18 take them to a upholstery shop. I had a rear seat set made , all 3 cushions for 575 including them installing the snaps.
