Sunnyland ACBS Classic Boat Show. Anyone going?

    I am going.

This is a great show for folks that love fiberglass classic boats as well as classic wood boats.

I'm going. I think Fast Eddie will be there, also Tidbart (Bob) usually shows up.

    Hi George

    George, you bringing your boat?
I have far too many boats, just ask my Wife.

    Ramp at Dora Canal.

If anybody doesn't want to leave their boat in the water at the show. I always use the ramp on the Dora canal. That way if the weather looks bad I pull out and take my boat back to the hotel for the night. It's just over the bridge on 19 left on Lake Harris DR and it's back there. Nice and new. There is a dock there too. Easy to launch. Park your car there too if you want to.

It's getting close. Like to get a count (maybe a week before the show) so I can arrange to have all the Donzi guys next to each other. It's going to be fun.

I was hoping to, but it's not quite ready. You can come by and see it if you want to. It's about 6 or 7 miles from the show.

A friend wants to drive down now and I may ride down with him, rather than fly. Firm plans are not yet made, except that I am going to this show, by hook or by crook.

I have a couch at my friend's place. It does not pull out. I just lay down with some bedding on it. It is in the living room. Works for me.

    Here is where we stay

Mention boat show. I think its $125.00 per night. 7 miles from the boat show. Nice place. Pool. bar, good reasonable food open late.
There are plenty of places over on 441.

    Gathering for lunch

Rather than start a new post, I will ask here as most attending are already subscribed to this thread.

If anyone is interested, we can have a get-together for lunch on Saturday. You can go by boat or not, up to you.

I was thinking of changing it up from past years and go back to the Hurricane Dockside Grill. This is the place along the Dead River, on the south side of 441 just west of the bridge. It is about 2.5 miles from the show.

Let me know if you're interested.
