    Prop for 302 with 1:61 Volvo 270

I've been reading all the old threads about Big Grizzly and his work with Solas. Is the Solas Titan 15 5/8 x 21, PN 8842-156-21 the same prop he helped develop? This would be for my 302 SBF with AQ270 1.61:1 drive ratio. Would the 19 be a better fit than the 21 or would I need to test both to know for sure?

Did you end up buying that Solas 21 inch prop from your link below and was it the one that fit well? I am about to order and (like you) want to make sure I order the right one. Mind if I ask you where you ended up buying it, assuming you did?
    Thanks,

Yes the same prop the early ones were shaped slightly different in the hub area and the prototype props had more cup. The production props handle and perform the same and work very well on the aq

If your 302 is not at 300 HP or more try the 19

    Thanks,
I ended up getting a Solas 19 from another member here. My HM 302 is close to stock, so I think the 19 will be a good fit. It bolted right up using the original thrust washer/line cutter, prop cone and hex bolt. I removed the exhaust outlet and installed a stainless steel blank off plate. I'll put some pics up tonight.
