I'm in the need for some longer than stock power trim hoses, seems that standard lengths stop at 72" . . is anyone aware of some company that makes hoses that will fit Mercruiser trim pumps?

Mario, it's ironic that you posted this request just at this moment....................
You may, or may not, remember that I mounted all three of my trim pumps on the seat back. I needed long hoses too. the problem I experienced was that the larger drive trim pump has inverted flare ends machined into the pump and drive. My local Aeroquip dealer was having some problems fabricating long hoses for me in the proper size (the tab pumps weren't a problem because they used 1/8" female pipe threads, which are easily adaptable to JIC).
My solution was to buy two sets of Merc hoses off ebay at an absolutely bargain price (about $35.00 each, I think), then have my Aeroquip guy assemble screwed JIC unions (the fittings were themselves were swaged onto the hoses) at the appropriate locations to give me the length I needed. The hose is Synflex, which is commonly available, and the ends (unions) and installation was $26.00 for a total of about $100.00.
Here are some pictures.......the white PEX hose you see in the pictures is what I used to mock up the tab pump hoses to the exact length.......I hate buying extra $4.50/foot hose.

How about a fitting like this to convert to JIC.

Then you can get hose anywhere.

same idea as HallJ, adapter: http://www.mercstuff.com/trimmanifolds.htm scroll to the bottom. After the adapter you should be good to get a custom set from a local shop
Jeff, I looked for a fitting like that for a long time. I'll bookmark this.
But Bob, one problem w/the adapter into that drive end manifold, is there's not a lot of vertical room in that little hole!!!!!
I'm not sure it'll work w/both the adapter AND JIC tube fitting.

Another problem on the drive end is the two ends are different and one 90* ell fits inside the other, nothing that can't be fabbed w/o special tooling, but may be difficult.
You can see this in one of my pictures.

Local hydraulic shop made up mine. My trim pump is up by the dash (under the floor) and the lines had to be 10 or 11 feet long.
