Love that boat. If anyone ever hears about or sees one whether turnkey or a project please let me know!

I grew up water skiing and running boats on the Delaware River. My father was a member of the Columbia Yacht Club and we ran from the Tacony–Palmyra Bridge to Trenton past the Turnpike Bridge up to the big cove where your pictures were taken. Later my Dad became a member of the Neshaminy Harbor Yacht Club and kept his boats at the state marina.

    Super vintage Bertram Barron !
That's my style of retro speeboat!

    I Love Your Bertram~
I guess I was born way too late for the newer modern euro style speedboats?

Two weeks ago I was in the very same area on the Deleware river where your great Bertram Barron photos above were taken.

Dave Cherubini, of Cherubini Yachts & Independance Classics Vintage Speedboats, & I along with two friends, were out testng one of his brand new mahogany decked 24 foot retro-style "Classic" speedboats.

    www.CherubiniYachts.com

    What a fun speedboat !
It turns lots of heads indeed .
Dave & his crew are now also building a 24 foot version of this vintage retro style speedboat with a Berkeley jet drive for New England customer.
    AND~~~
A 25.5 vintage retro style cabin sport cruiser.

Dave is working-up a quote for me for a possible build of a new mahogany decked 24 foot Gentleman's Racer with twin benchseat style cockpits.
The front cockpit would be hidden under convertible hide-away hatch cover.
    Stay Tuned~~~

    After our test ride~~~
We later had a waterfront dinner
at the place near that Burlington Bistol Bridge, pctured above, with the faux lighthouse and large waterfront dining deck.
    Ever eat there ?

Dave Cherubini's boat building shop is located in Delran/Riveton NJ along the New Jersey side of the Deleware River.

Give me a shout next time you plan to have your great new vintage Bertram Barron out on the upper ]Deleware river.
Perhapps we can meet-up by boat for lunch, or dinner, ~~on Me !
I live only few short min. away !
