    Trailer Hub Question/Help

Ok...so how tight or loose should they be? Whats the best way to know they are adjusted right. I just put a new rear axle and bearings in my trailer and repacked the front axle bearings. Just not real sure on if I have it adjusted correctly.

    Thanks!!

Loosen the large nut to finger tight, then slowly tighten this nut with a wrench while slowly spinning the wheel. Stop tightening the nut when the wheel starts to drag. This assures that you seated the bearing in the race. Loosen the nut 1 flat, install the cage over the nut, and then the cotter pin. Go boating!!!!
