    cleaning up Alum and Plexi

so what is everyone using to clean, buff, polish alum and plexi in a windshield?

the alum frame on mine has some pitting from the exposure to salt and the plexi is a little hazy with a few slight scuffs in it.
When the sky is grey, look out to sea.
When the waves are high and the light is dying,
well raise a glass and think of me...
    When I'm home again,
    boys, I'll be buying!

Matty the only way to get the pits out of the aluminum is wet sanding with some very fine paper 1200 or greater and then to a buffing wheel for the final shine.

This will leave raw aluminum so you will have to maintain the surface.

I use Mothers Mag polish on my raw aluminum stuff.
