350 MPI types

Every 350 MPI I have seen has the same sort of intake. Maybe changed over the years, but for the most part they have a round air cleaner at the top and look nothing like the big block versions...

I'm looking at a boat with a 350 MPI... but it has an intake / fuel injection setup that looks like the 454 and 502 Mag. Anyone see one like that? What year(s) did they make them like that?

Just figured it out via Mercruiser parts. 1995 and 1996 had different setups that look like the Big Blocks.

I have what you describe. My boat is a 97. The only Donzi's I've seen with these are 96's and 97's. There are some of the fastest stock 350MAGS I've ever run across.

Was that a "Gen" change year for small blocks? 96 was the first year of the GEN 6 big block. Is there a similar event for small blocks?
