    I would love to get my hands on one of these to try out on my 2+3 with a TRS, good, bad or ugly...

    Unless the boat is rigged with a higher X-Dimension, the boat will run slower with the SSMII as it's 1" deeper than the TRS. Also, if you do find one to try, you must shim the upper to the lower or you will not have the correct bearing pre-load.

    -They really are not a great unit, they were not very durable, the TRS was actually a stronger drive. Parts are extinct.

    TRS - LH with Hydromotive nosecone

    I have a nice TRS II with a hydro nosecone, its worth 1 MPH in the 70 range, and 2 MPH in the 80 MPH range - I have a lower Speedmaster lower REBUILT for $1500 or complete for $2700 plus shipping - Capt Greg 440 465 6834
