    Fluids

Recently got a 94 Classic 18 350/alpha. I have no book so need to clarify reservoirs. There are three reservoirs in engine compartment. One is in front of the engine with small lines, I believe this is tabs. One is in back left side, I believe this is trim/tilt. And last a small one by the carb, I believe this to be steering. Could someone please clarify and advise proper fluids for each. I can guess but would rather not. Thanks Ralph

The trim tab pump and power trim pump are very easy to identify , they're also normally back against the transom.
Power steering pump is normally attached to the front of the engine , also easy to recognise.
The only other one would be the Drive oil reservoir which Merc usually installed on the port exhaust manifold.
You don't happen to have a closed cooling system do you ?

If you have something really strange there , maybe a few pics would help clear it up .
Just because something's old doesn't mean you throw it away !
