It is that time again people. Our annual Beercan beach revival is coming up in a few weeks. For those of you unfamiliar with this wonderful event, Beercan is a beach at the Longboat Pass inlet, just south of Anna Maria Is. and north of Longboat Key. We usually arrive before noon and leave around 5+. Bring what you want to eat and drink. You can look at any map or e-mail me for directions or meet up with us at a few places and follow. Was Beercan today? How did it go? Might like to try it next year even if it is saltwater, but is my 16 too small for the waters around there?

It is the ICW no problem for a 16. You do not have to wait until next year, we go put every weekend if the weather is good.

OK, maybe this summer, just looked it up on the map, and didn't realize it was so far south, that's a 2 1/2 hour drive for me.

Nah...lake Trapon to my house is about an hour(50miles). I make it to Holiday in a tad over an hour.
