    Been awhile...but there's my new mod.

    I used the Toyota Camry Trunk cargo net ($50) and use zip tie to secure it in the engine compartment to hold the bumpers.

    You mean the abundance of storage space in the front bin won't hold all of your gear??

    Mine is 22 but should work for 18. Last year I was worring too much about the bumper line tangle with the drive belts. Peace of mind this yr. Quick and easy fix.

    I put a plastic bin on the starboard side of my engine room for the anchor and other stuff if need be. Water bed up front might slow you down a little.

    Don't worry about slowing down with the waterbed. Just rig it like a ballast tank. Fill it up only when needed, then drain it for top speed runs!
