    Boating In March In Michigan!!

This has been a winter to remember. The mildest winter I can recall. Also the first time I boated in March!! We were only out an hour or so to make sure everything was OK.

You have no idea how crazy I am . Wednesday is predicted to be 70* with sun. If so, I will be back out and without the hoodie! This is too cool!

I get all of it, except the shorts. There has to be a way to unload/load the boat without getting long pants wet!

I'm envious. And engine-less, which explains the envy.

I knew you would be the first NORTHERNER to be out in the water..

The water is like boating in Miami as it must be at least 35F..

Hope you have another boat nearby in case..You wouldn't last 10 min in the lake.

    Have a blast Carl..............................Ed

Here they pull the docks out on skids for the winter. There is no dock now so launching is lots of fun and involves wading out over your knees. Ed, safety is always first. Note the life vests and that I gave up my one lifeline to a passenger. Already have Wednesday planned; it's gonna be a long & great summer of boating! Get 'em out guys, the forecast is nothing but good weather.

Nice Carl! I've been enjoying this same weather down in Michigan City Indiana. It looks like you guys had some serious T-Storms your way last night.

I'm putting in a new Halon system and Wiring harness so I won't be in for a little while but I'll be in nice and early. Taking advantage of this great weather to do some dirt biking!

I always thought our seasons are linked somehow but we have in the low 40s over here. Strange, you've got no leaves but warm...

Got out again today! 73*! No shirt needed! This is so cool. Without a dock this is how I have to launch the boat. I use the inflatable as a dinghy! The bottom is rocky here so beaching is not going to happen with this boat.

I don't blame you one bit - it's supposed to be 85 degrees here in northern Virginia tomorrow, wtf?! I wish my engine wasn't in 30895 pieces at the machine shop.

Is that an official Donzi paddle?

Wouldn't want you running around with second-rate equipment!
