    Jet Coating marine manifolds

I've heard you can jet coat the internal water passages of marine manifolds to make them last virtually forever.....but the local powder coater says there is no way he knows of to do it. Anyone know how to do this?

I think you can order intake manifolds from Jegs already jet coated ...exhaust manifolds you could probably ship off to them .. i would think ..

    Jet Hot

Suggest you contact "Jet Hot" directly. It is top notch. I have had them do race car stuff in the past. I don't think it would hurt. I don't recall anyone doing it in drag racing and not sure why. I normally powder coated everything on my race motors but the block and heads. Easy cleaning.

I'm not all that impressed with the Jet Hot coating on the headers in one of my cars. The coating seemed to oxidize pretty quickly where the heat is concentrated on the header tubes; to the point where corrosion could probably set in if I lived in a humid environment.
