Texas Salties Mid-Winter Galveston Bay Run

Want to get that bad boy out this weekend? Weather should be great:

    Temp 70
    Wind 5-10 WSW

Bundle up your girl, and let's burn some fuel!

Let's meet out in front of the Turtle Club at noon. We'll cruise through the channel, and head out for Topwater Grill for lunch.

Let me know if you can make it... if you can't come by boat, come by car. We need to discuss our plans for the 2012 Texas Salties events...

You can ride with us if you want to...

But assuming we meet at noon we will probably be at Topwater Grill 12:45 or 1:00 if we get out of the Kemah Channel on time...

...well mine is still stuck on the trailer for a while but I'd love to come by the T.C. and check out the machinery.

Sharon informed me this evening she took another week of call and doesn't want to get stuck on the boat, but may still go to Top Water. I will be there, to quote U-2, "With or Without You".

So sorry I missed the Texas Salties Mid-Winter Galveston Bay Run...especially on such a beautiful day. Hope all you old Salts had a nice run. Thanks for your understanding Jim, I got in a situation where the spirits were flowing and I could see that I would not be able to break away to go get the boat and then get down there in time...and I was correct

Prior to next Texas Salties get-together I will remain on the wagon the night before.

Jefe, I figured I'd get a rise out of the board with that. She's a sweet boat though with great lines and the Donzi will look good next to her. ... and I promise she is faster and more comfortable than these little Donzis when the weather and seas get really snotty. 10-12 foot seas -No Problem!
